The app

Still Counts runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no account, no server, no cloud sync, no analytics and no third-party code. Your quests, wins, prizes and photos stay on your device. We can't see them, and nobody else can either. If you delete the app, the data goes with it.

This website

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and runs no analytics. Everything it needs, fonts included, comes from stillcounts.app, so a visit sends nothing to other companies. Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security. The one thing that leaves this site is the newsletter sign-up, below, and only if you click it.

If you write to us

The “Write to us” window doesn't send anything by itself. It opens your own email app with a draft, or copies the text for you. If you send it, your message and email address reach our inbox, hosted by Hostinger. We use them only to reply, and we'll delete them if you ask.

Newsletter

The newsletter is an email about once a month on building Still Counts. The sign-up form opens on a page run by Hostinger Reach, the service that keeps the list and sends the emails. That page sets one security cookie from Cloudflare (__cf_bm, gone after 30 minutes) to keep bots out. It doesn't track you, and nothing on stillcounts.app sets a cookie.

What we keep: your email address, when you signed up, when you confirmed, and the box you ticked to agree. Nothing arrives until you click the confirmation link we email you. We use your address only to send you these emails. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it whenever you like; that doesn't undo emails already sent.

Hostinger, a company based in the EU, stores the list and sends the emails on our behalf as our data processor. Nobody else gets the list, and we don't sell or share it.

Opens and clicks: Hostinger Reach records whether an email was opened (a tiny image in the email) and which links were clicked (links pass through Reach first). We look at the totals to tell whether the emails are worth writing. To avoid it, turn off remote images in your mail app, or unsubscribe.

How long: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your address marked as unsubscribed, so you're never emailed again by mistake. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have even that entry deleted, or to see what we hold, write to contact@stillcounts.app and we'll do it within a month.

Who we are

Still Counts is made by Grzegorz Byrski in Kraków, Poland. Contact: contact@stillcounts.app. Under GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For the app, the answer is nothing, because it never leaves your phone.

Not a treatment

Still Counts is a small motivational game. It doesn't diagnose, treat or manage ADHD, or anything else, and it isn't a substitute for professional care.
